They have this one list with 2-3 thousand contacts from multiple companies, and contacts are for marketing activities like Seminars, Conferences, MeetUps, and even Projects. The list is connected to MS Outlook. <\/p>\n<p>How can they send Emails to a smaller selection? with Info like: \u201cWelcome to\u2026\u201d    <br \/>the Marketing employees have full control in the contact list, but no Offce365 admins and\/or Exchange admins access <\/p>\n<p>My \u201cNo-Code\u201d sollution is to use Categories in Outlook, combined with nice views in Outlook Client and SP list versioning.&#160; <br \/><em>-&gt; Pls forgive my totally blurish and low res pics, the combination of Screen Resolution and SnipEditor did the hickup. For Company I group by the standard column \u201cCompany\u201d, but for Projects I use \u201cCountry\/Region\u201d, more on that later.<\/p>\n<p>Here is the step by step guide to set this up:<\/p>\n<p><strong>1: Configure same view<\/strong> in Office365 Contact list for Company and Project, \u2013same columns and ordering as intended to use in Outlook.     <br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sharepoint13.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/image.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"image\" style=\"border-left-width: 0px; border-right-width: 0px; background-image: none; border-bottom-width: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; display: inline; padding-right: 0px; border-top-width: 0px\" border=\"0\" alt=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sharepoint13.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/image_thumb.png\" width=\"322\" height=\"131\" \/><\/a>     <br \/><strong>2: Enable Version History<\/strong>     <br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sharepoint13.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/image1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"image\" style=\"border-left-width: 0px; border-right-width: 0px; background-image: none; border-bottom-width: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; display: inline; padding-right: 0px; border-top-width: 0px\" border=\"0\" alt=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sharepoint13.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/image_thumb1.png\" width=\"312\" height=\"105\" \/><\/a>     <br \/>Project participation history is now available. All the \u201cnon informational\u201d versions are Categories, so they are reflected to O365, but sadly we cannot use them in Views and filters in O365. And also if a contact is participating in more than one project at a time consider either to just use categories (no versioning there) or use another column available.     <br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sharepoint13.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/image2.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"image\" style=\"border-left-width: 0px; border-right-width: 0px; background-image: none; border-bottom-width: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; display: inline; padding-right: 0px; border-top-width: 0px\" border=\"0\" alt=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sharepoint13.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/image_thumb2.png\" width=\"144\" height=\"164\" \/><\/a>     <br \/>This Contact participated in 3 projects<\/p>\n<p><strong>3.
